Community in Differentiated Instruction
Building community in the classroom can be done in several ways. I think it's vital in engaging students to their full potential, especially when teaching while using differentiated instruction. When using differentiated instruction students should never feel isolated or different in a negative way. Students should feel unique and be aware that everyone in the class is an equal. Building community is a perfect way to show students this! Some ways to build community among students are team questions, cooperative learning, encourage creativity, allow students to get to know each other, and much more.
Below are some technology tools I've used in my classroom to build community.
The Museum of Modern Art in New York City has an awesome website with tons of resources to use in the classroom. It can be used by teachers, students, or anyone looking for tools and strategies for engaging with modern and contemporary art. They allow you to download and customize slide shows, worksheets, and other resources for use in the classroom and building community with students.

The Jackson Pollock website is a great technology tool to use in the classroom when teaching abstract expressionism. I could also use this website to print one piece of artwork created by the entire class as a whole to create community among the students.
